Presentation & Classroom  Scaler/Switchers

VP-719xl - ProScale™ Presentation Switcher / ScalerThe Kramer VP-719xl is a true multi-standard video to RGBHV (pixel) Digital Scaler/Switcher with FTB TM (Fade-thru-Black) technology for smooth switching. It converts video, s-Video, component video, VGA-through-UXGA, and DVI signals to a range of user-selectable VESA pixel rates, as well as several special resolutions. Some of the popular scaling resolutions which are supported are VGA- through-UXGA, 1024x852i, 1024x1024i, 1366x768, 1365x1024, and 1280x720. The machine has two parallel outputs, on HD15 connectors, that can be used as graphics outputs. The front panel has additional controls over the previous version: “BLANK” blanks the screen, “MUTE” mutes the audio; “FREEZE” freezes the output; “RESET TO VGA” hardware-resets the output resolution; and “PANEL LOCK” prevents unintentional operation. The machine has a built-in power amplifier at 5 watts RMS per channel, ample to fill a presentation room. Volume is controlled via front panel buttons. The VP-719xl  uses K-StormTM Scaling technology, digitally reprocessing the signal to correct mastering errors, and regenerate the video at a higher line and pixel rate format, providing native-resolution video for LCD, DLP and Plasma displays. It up and down scales any graphics resolution to any other resolution (for example, a VGA input to an UXGA output, or an SXGA input to an SVGA output,). The machine incorporates a unique graphics-scaling engine with image enhancement algorithms, built into the firmware. The machine is specifically designed to improve video quality by reducing Chroma noise. The eight audio channels switch in AFV mode. Control is via, Infra Red remote control, RS-232, and front panel buttons coupled with: a user-friendly on-screen display. The VP-719xl incorporates a full scale ProcAmp for video correction and enhancement, and offers 3:2/2:2 pull down. Housed in a 1U, rack-mountable enclosure, it uses a universal 100-240VAC automatic power supply. Spec Sheet
VP-720xl - ProScale™ Presentation Switcher / ScalerThe Kramer VP-720xl is a true multi-standard video to RGBHV (pixel) Digital Scaler/Switcher with FTB TM (Fade-thru-Black) technology for smooth switching. K-IITTM (Image insertion technology ) gives a Picture-in-Picture function, allowing any video source to be inserted into a graphics background and vice versa, as well as allowing the user to size, and locate the inserted image anywhere on the screen. The eight audio channels switch in AFV mode. Control is via, Infra Red remote control, RS-232, and front panel buttons coupled with: a user-friendly on-screen display. VP-724xl - ProScale™ Digital Scaler/Switcher The VP-724xl  is an 8-input scaler/switcher with unbalanced stereo audio. It will scale any composite, s-Video (Y/C), component video (YUV), DVI video or computer graphics video signal up or down to a selectable graphics or HDTV output resolution and provides glitch-free switching between sources through FTB™ (fade-thru-black) switching technology   Spec Sheet
VP-740 - Presentation Scaler / SwitcherThe VP 740 is a high quality graphics and video digital scaler/switcher that scales any input format and resolution to a user-defined output resolution. The VP 740 switches between the sources using FTB™ (Fade-Thru-Black) technology, outputting an extremely high quality image even from a low quality source, and feature 2xCV, 2xY/C, 2xYUV/RGBHV, 1xVGA, 1xDVI-D inputs, and RGBHV/YUV, and DVI outputs (Not HDCP Compliant). All popular graphics and HDTV output resolutions are supported. Aspect ratio and film-related enhancements make this the perfect companion to any Home Cinema set up. Our unique Kramer K-IIT™ image  insertion technology gives a Picture-In-Picture facility for graphics-into-video and vice versa, as well as video-into-progressive scan component and vice versa. The VP 740 uses a universal power supply: 100-240 VAC with automatic voltage selection, and also provides a rear panel 12VDC OUT power connector that can supply 500mA to any machine with a 12VDC power input. In addition, the unit has a front panel lock; support for firmware upgrade via RS 232; and a front panel LCD. Control is via the OSD front panel control buttons and/or remotely, from the infra-red remote control transmitter as well as via RS 232.  Spec Sheet
