Arena Lite combines the gorgeous styling of the Dual Concentric™ equipped satellites and centre channel from the multi award winning Arena home theatre system with the gutsy performance of the 300W TS10 subwoofer. Tannoy’s proprietary WideBand™ tweeter technology integrated has been into the Dual, with a high rigidity titanium dome and neodymium magnet assembly coupled to a rear acoustic cavity; delivering low colouration and remarkably detailed, spacious and airy detail. At 300W RMS, the BASH® amplifier technology utilised in the soft touch matt black TS10 subwoofer has a patented high efficiency power amplifier circuit topology. Stylish design…. great sound… home theatre made easy. The HTS 100 is a discreet, exceptionally compact wall or shelf mount system ideal for smaller spaces. The satellites utilise a 75m (3.00”) mid bass driver and a 19mm (0.75”) Tannoy WideBand™ extended bandwidth high frequency unit with a frequency range from 100Hz to 40kHz. Housed in a rigid wooden enclosure they integrate superbly with the centre channel and 200mm (8.00”) active subwoofer to deliver a convincing, high-energy movie experience.
The exceptionally natural voicing of the Tannoy SFX5.1 system is apparent on both music and speech reproduction, while use as a 5.1 home theatre system ensures you will hear just what the sound engineer wanted you to hear; from a pin drop to a huge scale explosion this system accelerates effortlessly throughout the dynamic range.

The EFX satellite and centre channel speakers incorporate Tannoy WideBand™ technology. Extending high frequency response, in this case up to 78kHz, is not about increasing the amount of high frequencies you hear. The purpose is to effect a reduction of phase error, not only at the top end of the frequency range, but also well within the range of human hearing for harmonic recognition. What does this deliver?
Starting even as low as 5kHz, the effect of phase error reduction improves sonic detail, imaging precision and overall system integration. In 5.1 audio applications WideBand™ improves the total acoustic performance of the system by delivering superior mid-band resolution and remarkable low frequency control, conveying music information with speed, impact and clarity.
These essential acoustic characteristics are further enhanced during movie soundtrack reproduction through the provision of an involving and believable soundstage. The Tannoy iw6 DS has a main bass and mid-range driver, built around an immensely strong chassis. the rigidity of the chassis controls the energy created by it’s long throw driver with ease, a crucial factor in creating a driver unit capable not only of high power delivery and tremendous bass output, but also of great subtlety and finesse. This class leading performance is further enhanced by the inclusion of a Tannoy Wideband™ high frequency unit to extend the bandwidth to over 50 kHz. Gold plated spring loaded terminals are provided for ease of installation.
Unique in its design approach, the Tannoy iw8TDC in-wall loudspeaker offers Tannoy's legendary studio sound quality in an unobtrusive and easy to install package. Most in-wall loudspeakers use a relatively flimsy plastic molding as both the baffle for the drive units and as part of the clamping mechanism for installation. The iw8TDC baffle is machined from 1 1/4" MDF, providing a solid foundation for the 8" Dual ConcentricTM point-source drive unit, and ensures a solid connection to the wall. The iw8TDC also boasts exceptional specifications for an in-wall speaker. Power handling is 125Watts, while sound pressure levels in excess of 115dB can be achieved. This means that the iw8TDC is also suitable for use as main speaker systems, not just as background music in zoned audio applications. The iw8TDC sets a new direction for in-wall loudspeakers, where performance is not compromised for convenience. The latest Tannoy Dual Concentric™ driver has at the heart of the iw62 TDC. Intensive research and development has refined this proven technology that builds upon the legendary performance of this exclusive Tannoy driver design. Given that all sound emanates from a single point in space, the high frequency unit of the Dual, centrally mounted in the throat of the main 165mm (6 1/2”) mid/bass driver, is so positioned as to acoustically replicate this single point source; delivering an open and natural sound with a very wide image ‘sweet spot’. An additional acoustically matched 165mm (6 1/2”) bass driver delivers low frequency reinforcement, while a Tannoy Supertweeter™ to extend the frequency bandwidth out to over 50kHz.
Gold plated spring loaded bi-wired terminals are provided for ease of installation, with further acoustic optimization provided by a driver earthing fifth terminal design to minimize RF interference.
A unique six way clamp mechanism (paten applied for) optimizes. The design also allows for simple removal or reorientation of the loudspeaker. The acoustic seal with a high integrity bond to the wall surface without risk of distortion to the loudspeaker baffle. The iw62 TDC loudspeaker is ideal for installation into standard stud partition wall systems constructed with 4” by 2” (102mm by 51mm) timber at 16” (406mm) centers. They may also be used in cavity wall installations constructed with standard thickness drywall. These are guidelines and therefore do not prevent the use of the Tannoy in-wall products in different locations and a wide range of other wall construction types as long as they have a secure clamping surface up to a maximum thickness of 1” (25.4mm). Tannoy 110SR Passive In-Wall Sub-Woofer
The Tannoy 110 SR Sheet Rock subwoofer – like its companions, the 110 TB (Tile Bridge) and the 110 CS (Corner Sub) – is a compact, 10” down-firing, vented cabinet capable of 31Hz @ -3dB. The 110 SR flush mounts into sheet rock ceilings, walls, or overhangs – any position offering adequate clearance and suitable structural support. The unit comes complete with a low profile square grille. The 110 SR cabinet is fitted with seismic tether points and comes with a sturdy pre-installation ring (110 SR-Ring) for safe and secure installation of the unit. (The pre-installation ring is available separately for new construction where the sheet rock installers arrive before the contractor.) Fire rating for the 110 SR is NFPA Grade A.
The 110 SR can be ordered with a passive input module (110 SR-P) connected via barrier strip, or with a passive internal crossover (110 SR-PX). Both passive modules can be powered by a THP 60 Watt / 70 Volt line transformer for distributed systems (110 SR-P70V and 110 SR-PX 70V).
Alternatively, the 110 SR can be powered by a 110 Watt active amplifier (110 SR-A) or with a Tannoy PowerLinx PLA 305 – 300 Watt multi-channel amplifier (110 SR-MC), with 110 Watts dedicated to the subwoofer. Both the active and multi-channel options are UL and CSA approved. Get spec
Tannoy’s TS range of active subwoofers, designed for studio monitoring and playback of multi channel recordings, offer incredibly compact designs without compromising their powerful and punchy dynamic bass performance. An exceptionally sturdy and rigid cabinet is the basis of each of the three models, ensuring a extraordinary control of the drive unit and minimising unwanted cabinet resonance. Each utilises a substantially built, down-firing drive unit with an oversized magnet system. The massive roll surround allows substantial cone excursion providing the necessary air movement to ensure very extended low frequency output; 26Hz (-6dB) in the case of the TS12 with usable output down as low as 15Hz. Occupying less than a cubic foot of space including the cone-shaped spiked feet, the TS8 is ideally suited to small home studios, while the TS10 and 12 have the performance to deliver in professional postproduction and mastering facilities.
BASH® amplifier technology is utilised in these subwoofers; a patented high efficiency power amplifier circuit topology that has taken the best of Class D and Class AB and created a new Class of its own. The digital power amplifier with its patented switch mode power supply delivers exceptional performance and excellent bandwidth with long-term reliability. Very high-power amplifiers are fitted (200 / 300 and 500 Watts RMS to the TS 8 / TS10 and TS12 respectively) ensuring there is ample power to reproduce dynamic movie scores. Achieving the optimum settings is easy; low frequency extension can be varied from around 60Hz down to the unit’s lowest operating frequency via a control on the rear panel to allow the subwoofer to be adjusted to match the relative frequency in relation to the main monitor system. Versatile connectivity is offered through a selection of input and output sockets; stereo line level inputs can either utilise or bypass the system’s internal crossover circuitry. XLR to the mixing desk and output to active main speakers. The output can be selected as either a direct feed or switched to provide an 80Hz HIPASS function. Other features include an auto power on and sleep function whereby the system will go into a ‘stand-by’ mode if no signal is detected for approximately 12 minutes. Soft-clip limiting is incorporated to limit the maximum sound output in order to eliminate audible distortion. Gain and phase controls are provided to allow easy adjustment for output level and precise matching with the room and the rest of the system.
