RTZ will do our very best to match any authorized dealer written price quote or advertised price on identical items with the following exceptions;
We will no longer price match any Panasonic home theater projector, select audio & video items, system controls and screens on display in our showroom. We will no longer provide product demonstrations for other companies who operate in the virtual world.
We no longer match any internet price where the company does not have a showroom to demonstrate the product. Our showroom is for our customers looking for RTZ Audio Visual to design and install their home theater. All demonstrations are by appointment only. No walk-ins please.

RTZ reserves the right to NOT accept any order that is placed with a credit card by phone or via our online store that can not be verified. If we can't reach you by phone at the number you supplied - we will not process your order. No exceptions.
NO CREDIT CARD ORDERS THAT ARE SENT to us via unsecured email will be accepted and or PROCESSED for any reason.
We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses. It must be a physical address that UPS will deliver to.
All Overnight/Next Day credit card orders where the shipping/billing address are different will be verified by the card institution before the items are shipped. You must fill out this Signature Verification form in order to have your online order shipped via overnight without a confirmation by phone.
Please make sure that the address you are requesting shipment to is listed as a valid address for your credit card. We have numerous fraudulent orders placed with stolen credit cards attempting to ship to alternate addresses. Please note - we will error on the side of NOT shipping any suspicious order to protect our customers. We may ask for faxed ID information including a copy of the card (front/back) and a drivers license.
Our web site pricing is current. We can update our site many times a week. Please note that we have a brick and mortar store - we try to offer items for sale online for the convenience of our customers. We welcome your calls & visits to our store.
We will in most cases match any authorized dealers web advertised or printed catalog price on the identical in-stock item. The company or dealer must be authorized to sell selected products. If that can not be verified.. we will not match the price. Our price match policy applies to all product types and or product categories.

We also accept government, educational, and corporate purchase orders provided the proper new account information form or a credit reference sheet is faxed at the time the order is placed. Requests for an open account can take up to 10 business days to complete a check on references.
All international orders must be completed by bank wire funds transfer. There is a $35.00 fee for that service & our bank information can be provided. We will provide those customers with a written formal quote that includes shipping, handling, and bank fees for international orders so that the correct dollar amount can be transferred. Duties and tariffs are not quoted and would be the responsibility of the end-user.
RTZ Audio Visual offers no price protection/price matching on previously purchased RTZ merchandise after 7 business days

RTZ Audio-Visual offers a full refund on RTZ Stock items if the merchandise is returned in factory sealed condition within 10 business days and the item was shipped from our warehouse. Items that are "drop-shipped" may incur re-stocking fees regardless of whether they are factory sealed.
Exceptions
to our Factory Sealed / Unopened Merchandise Returns
All non-stock projection screens, all mounts, all Shure Audio products, and all Extron items are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee when returned. This applies to all factory sealed items. A RTZ return authorization is required within 25 days. After 25 days, no returns will be accepted for ANY reason.
All opened non-defective items are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee based on the purchase retail price. Some items will incur higher re-stocking fees or CAN NOT BE RETURNED for any reason. Please check with your sales person or email us before you place your order regarding this issue.
Shipping & handling charges are not refundable. Return shipping charges/insurance are the customers responsibility once RTZ has issued a RMA#.
Do not write on the carton or box for any reason. Your return will be refused & or additional fees will be applied to your return due to the condition of the carton/missing accessories.
Returns must be fully insured.. RTZ AV is not responsible for items damaged in shipping back to us.
All returns must be pre-approved by us and have an RA (Return Authorization) number.
Return Authorization numbers expire 7 business days after they are issued.They will not be re-issued beyond the 7 business days. It is the customer's responsibility to get merchandise back to us on a timely basis.
On projectors with lamp failure within 90 days/500 hours of the sale (Manufacturer warranty period on lamps) These units must be shipped back and the unit inspected. We will replace the lamp with a new one to correct this issue. If it is not the lamp and there is some other service issue -RTZ AV will determine if the unit should be replaced or repaired depending on hours on the projector and how long the customer has owned the unit. The customer must still have the original carton, packing, and all accessories. RTZ AV and the manufacturer may choose simply to replace the entire unit if a lamp is not available or the unit can not be serviced and returned to the customer in a timely fashion. We make these decisions on a case by case basis.
Please know that we will ALWAYS do our very best to resolve an issue regarding items that fail to operate within 30 days. We are also customers in the real world and want to treat each our customers as we would treat a family member.
On most initial failure items (DOA out of the carton)- these items will be replaced by RTZ AV if we are notified within 5 days of the receipt of the item.
Please note that this is not a unilateral policy as we do have some vendors that require DOA and initial failure items to be repaired regardless whether it's two days or twenty days old. The item needs to shipped back for inspection and replacement. A Return Authorization number from RTZ AV is required. Always contact your sales person regarding this situation ASAP. You must retain the carton/packing and all accessories in order to ship the unit back to us.
Shipping
damage or theft in transit is the customer's responsibility. Make sure that you always insure your shipment! Be sure to file a claim or notate any damage when you receive the merchandise.
Demo or Clearance sale items are final sales unless otherwise noted
Any item that is "special ordered" for you - these items must follow each manufacturer's repair policy.

Pixel Inspection Policy - RTZ AV does not pre-inspect any LCD or DLP projectors for pixels before we ship or for showroom sales. Pixel issues and those inquiries should be directed to the manufacturer customer service of the particular projector.
RTZ AV follow the warranty policies of each manufacturer regarding DOA and pixels. Please note that if we can work with a vendor to provide our customers with pixel support..... we will offer it immediately.
RTZ AV ships to all U.S. Territories & Canada. Duties or fees are the responsibility of the purchaser.

RTZ AV does not ship nor does it respond to any RFQ's from Indonesia.
All orders shipped in MD, VA, and the District of Columbia will be charged sales tax. The only exception is if the customer provides the tax exempt number when placing the order and then faxes a copy of said Tax Resale Certificate to 301 419 3105 referencing their online order number.
All customer pick up items are taxed at the MD sales tax rate of 5% unless the conditions above are met in regards to the tax exempt certificate.

Special order items can not be returned. You will be informed of this at the time of purchase. If you have questions or concerns, make sure you ask questions before you purchase. Examples of these would be custom built lecterns, custom sized projection screens, custom lenses, any item that we do not stock or sell on a regular business.
